Meet Our Hosts

Jared and Selena have been married for 29 years and are the parents of nine children and five grandchildren. They are 3rd generation ranchers, managing the operation Jared’s grandfather and father built in Secret Pass and Clover Valley, Nevada.

Jared is a life-long learner and has been applying and teaching principles of holistic management, soil regeneration, and personal development. Jared has mentored many young people seeking to get a start in agriculture and coached business owners throughout the world to find solutions to become regenerative & profitable.

The Sorensen's raise and market grass-fed beef, teach onsite and virtual classes and offer internships on the ranch.

I know the pressure you’re feeling because I’ve faced it too. I’ve gone through sleepless night’s wondering if I’m going to be able to keep this ranch alive to pass on the lifestyle to my children. So many are leaving agriculture because the work is too hard and the profits too lean.

I am passionate about sustainability in our industry. Will this work on a small-scale/ large-scale operation?

YES! Our strategies work for large ranches that are meant to support and sustain a family as a full-time business.
